Week Fifteen: Rapper’s Delight

Much like our last song, many of these lyrics just don’t make sense.  And that’s the beautiful thing, along with beatboxing, about old school rap.  These guys used to rock a New Jersey party all night long back in the eighties.  That’s probably why the original track is, like, 15 minutes long.  We decided that was too much for our larynx (and your ears), so we chopped it down a bit.

We’re also proud to announce the turntable debut of our cat, Moogerpuss Jones.  Moogli has been practicing his scratching for a quite a while, mainly on the couch, the bedskirt, and us.  Moogs has finally put his skills to the test on the wheels of steel.  (See enclosed photo).

Um, Kristin…you missed your calling. Why is this not your job!?!?!? And nice hat, Moogs! I know I say this every week, but this is my favorite–and the whole family worked on it!!!

Can you believe I wasn’t even that excited to do this song!? Luckily Moogs convinced me.
