This week we jump back into the Land of Wind and Ghosts, where Dusty Projects come back to life. We actually started working on this song 2 years ago!

This marks our first song on the song-a-week blog that was recorded A cappella, meaning that it was done without instrumental accompaniment. A capella literally translates, in Italian, to mean “in the manner of the church”, for some weird reason.

“Happ-E-2-C-U-A-Ginn” comes from the album Now Do U Wanta Dance by Graham Central Station, an absolutely essential record to add to your funk collection.

Next week’s teaser: “A person to show affection to” (postponed)

Are you sure you guys haven’t hired anyone to sing along with you? I can’t believe you’re doing all of the parts–you sound soulful! I’ve never hear of this song before, but I love it!
