My parents bought me a tape recorder somewhere around the age of five. The tape recorder has been a central figure in my life ever since then, transformed into a time machine, providing a comprehensive transcription of my autobiography in sound. To date, I have over 250 tapes in my personal archive, which function as both a source of strict documentation (phone conversations, family dinners, happenings in the home, neighborhood, school)… and an artistic tool. EXTREMELY EARLY WORKS captures the best and brightest recordings from the early years.
